- ➤ The City of Pasco will hold a ribbon-cutting event on Wed., Jan. 28, from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. at Memorial Pool to officially open the new Memorial Pool Dome for year-round swimming; residents can enjoy a free community swim until 3:00 p.m. as part of the $2 million investment. NBC Tri-Cities
- ➤ Alpha Kappa Alpha's Psi Nu Omega chapter held a sock drive at Columbia Center Mall in Kennewick to honor Martin Luther King's legacy; they collected over 500 pairs of socks in the first hour and a half, celebrating 118 years of service (established in 1908) while helping the homeless.
