- ➤ X-energy signed a 10-year contract with SGL Carbon LLC for an initial $100 million award to produce graphite reactor components for its first SMR facility in Texas and reserved additional capacity for the planned Cascade facility near Richland — construction is expected to begin within five years. - ➤ Richland School District emailed parents, teachers and students that its superintendent will step down in 2027 when her contract expires and that a search for a new leader will soon begin + the board declined to extend her contract to seek stronger academic growth and fiscal management. 610 KONA
- ➤ Richland School District informed parents, teachers, and students that Superintendent Shelley Redinger will step down in 2027 as her contract expires in June. The district will begin searching for a replacement soon (as noted in an official communication). KFLD
