- ➤ Coinme, a Seattle-based cryptocurrency exchange serving Tri-Cities, resumed operations after regulators halted fund collections on Dec. 1 over wrongful income claims from wired funds; the firm reached an agreement in December and the investigation is ongoing + further review is pending. ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Operators shut down the Columbia Generating Station on Feb. 13 after identifying pump problems that circulate water through its reactor’s core — a rare, unplanned event — and Energy Northwest said the plant remained safe and stable while technical staff evaluated the pumps with the restart date still uncertain.
