  • Jersey Mike’s will host its Annual Day of Giving on Wednesday, Mar. 25 and donate all sales to support Special Olympics Washington athletes preparing for the USA Games in Minnesota from June 20 to June 26.  610 KONA
  • Jersey Mike’s is hosting its annual Day of Giving on Wednesday, March 25 — all sales will support Special Olympics Washington athletes preparing for the 2026 USA Games. Customers can round up their bills during the Month of Giving to help boost local funding for the cause.  KFLD

BUSINESS NEWS

  • A popular West Richland restaurant moved into a former brewery space at 94 Lee Blvd near Howard Amon Park on March 8. Endive Eatery now serves seasonal menus from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday to Sunday and invites diners to visit its sister restaurant The Witlof.  Tri-Cities Area Journal of Business
  • The Richland fuel production facility has extended its partnership with France-based Framatome and NuScale to fabricate up to 444 NuFUEL-HTP2 fuel assemblies for next generation nuclear energy projects. EDUCATION NEWS

  • Kadlec Healthcare Academy launches at Tri-Tech Skills Center to offer high school students paid healthcare training – including roles in nursing, medical assistance, IT, and security. The initiative, funded by Gesa Credit Union, aims to enroll 30 students annually and provide immediate job opportunities after graduation.  NBC Tri-Cities

  • Pasco’s new Aquatic Center is holding a lifeguard hiring event on Saturday, March 21 from 10 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at Memorial Aquatic Park, 1520 W. Shoshone Street. Applicants 15 and older must pass a swim test, lift up to 50 pounds, and earn valid Red Cross certifications.  610 KONA

HEALTH NEWS

  • Health officials confirmed 26 measles cases so far this year, with nearly 80% affecting children due to low vaccination rates, and urged immunization using free local vaccine programs (no reported cases in the Tri-Cities).  KEPR

  • Richland’s Atomic Ale Brewery and Eatery is offering Irish-inspired specials ahead of St. Patrick’s Day.
