- ➤ Rock singer Chris Daughtry and his band will perform at the Benton Franklin County Fair and Rodeo on Wednesday, August 20—tickets will go on sale Friday, March 21 at 8 a.m. at the fair office in Pasco. KFLD
- ➤ This spring, Tri-Cities farmers markets will open with Pasco’s market running every Saturday from May through October at 109 S. 4th Avenue in Peanuts Park from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.—Richland’s market will run every Friday and Downtown Kennewick’s market will open from Thursday through Sunday starting June 6. Vendors will offer local produce, crafts, live music and food trucks to support local farmers and artisans. 610 KONA

- ➤ A man was arrested for burglary after an hours-long standoff at Catholic Charities in Pasco on Monday, where he punched a hole in an apartment wall and broke windows before drawing hearts in his blood — police used flashbangs and teargas to force him out, treated him in hospital, and booked him into Franklin County Jail. - ➤ WSU Tri-Cities is hosting its annual Women of Distinction Awards ceremony — honoring women and allies for their strides toward equity — on March 27th at 6:15 p.m. on campus, and the event has recognized 49 individuals since 2017, including recent honorees Michelle Whitney from Pasco School District and Rebekah Woods from Columbia Basin College. - ➤ At Monday night's meeting, Pasco City Council honored Pasco High Dance Team for winning Dance Team Union 2025 when Mayor Pete Serrano read a congratulatory letter (recognizing their achievement). HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ The Kadlec Foundation allocated $797,588 from donors for programs, equipment, and services at Kadlec Regional Medical Center and Kadlec Clinic in 2025 to improve care—this funding supports new infant care equipment, pediatric scopes, ultrasound machines, ICU monitors and community aid programs. A fundraising breakfast will be held in Pasco on March 27 at 7:30 a.m. to help boost these health initiatives. NBC Tri-Cities
