- ➤ Annie is a 15-week-old pup from Pet Overpopulation Prevention now in foster care with a local dog trainer in the Tri-Cities. She is crate and leash trained, nearly fully vaccinated, and ready for adoption. 610 KONA
- ➤ The Bureau of Land Management seeks live-in seasonal volunteer hosts for campgrounds in Washington and Oregon from late spring to early fall. Hosts will perform maintenance tasks, and applicants must pass a federal background check while providing a self-contained RV. 610 KONA
BUSINESS NEWS
- ➤ Pacific Power launched its new Wildfire Intelligence Center to monitor weather forecasts, wildfires and grid risks today. The utility installed nearly 200 weather stations by the end of 2025 and plans 10 more by the end of 2026 (data aids operational decisions). 610 KONA

- ➤ College students from the Mid-Columbia Rotaract Club will host a $5 bowling fundraiser at Atomic Bowl in Richland tonight — from 9:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. — to help save Prescott School District from closure due to financial struggles; organizers expect 500 community members to attend. - ➤ Kennewick city leaders are starting a shoreline reconveyance to transfer waterfront lands from the Army Corps—covering parts of Columbia Park and areas by the Blue Bridge—to the city for easier maintenance and future improvements, including a splash pad; they have begun the federal process in Washington D.C.
