- ➤ Benton County Sheriff's Office said Schoneck was arrested Wednesday morning after deputies found him on Bryon Brown Road following a chase that began when he ran from a traffic stop near SR 397 and Bowles Road on Tuesday night—authorities say he now faces charges for fleeing police, kidnapping and possession of firearms. - ➤ CBRE Inc. reported that Central Washington added over 84 megawatts of data center capacity in the past year to reach nearly 250 megawatts with less than half a megawatt remaining, showing high demand. Local plans—including zoning updates in West Richland and talks near Wallula—could lead to hundreds of new jobs and boost the economy by tapping cheap hydroelectric power and state incentives. - ➤ The Port of Kennewick sold four parcels on March 25th to BlueChart Homes— a joint venture of Levi Holmes and Benjamin Paulus— to develop a mix of row houses, townhouses and attached or detached units into a residential community that could eventually include up to 300 homes.
