  • At the annual Cinco de Mayo parade in Pasco, members of the Tri Cities' Indivisible chapter rallied to demand the release of Sergio Gomez, who was taken by ICE during a citizenship interview.   • Pasco City Councilwoman Melissa Blasdel announced her intent to run for election in District 6 after serving since her 2023 appointment—she said her campaign will focus on keeping police and fire departments fully staffed, boosting small business growth, and revitalizing downtown.   • Jean Ryckman, a leading figure at the Port of Pasco, announced her retirement effective December 31 — her nearly 13-year tenure included key projects such as the 2014 airport terminal expansion and the acquisition of 300 acres for an industrial center.
