  • ➤ Pasco will host a ribbon cutting at 4:00 p.m. on June 12 for the new aquatic center at 5204 Road 108, offering public tours and reservation openings. The 47,000 sqft center with a lazy river, lap pool, hot tubs, and splash areas will open for swimming on June 27.  KFLD
  • ➤ Annaleah, one of Pasco’s brightest young leaders, received a free bicycle this week (in partnership with HAPO Community Credit Union) through the Young Hearts program. The award honors emerging local talent.  Apple Valley News Now

  • ➤ Kennewick city leaders are reviewing three proposals for a new city hall, with one plan that would demolish Museum at Keewaydin to create space for the municipal building; the decision could change the future of this local landmark.  Apple Valley News Now

  • ➤ Tri-City Water Follies hydroplane testing returns at Columbia Park in Kennewick on Saturday, May 30. The free event runs from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and includes a parking fee of 5 dollars + benefits for a local Scout troop.  NBC Tri-Cities
