ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Crews from Franklin County Fire District 3 controlled a wildfire that spread to 15 acres near Jake Road off Pasco Kahlotus Road on Saturday — the cause of the fire remains unknown. FOX 41 Yakima
- ➤ Earlier, a fire on Jake Road in Franklin County burned 4 to 5 vehicles, jet skis, and a boat—firefighters contained the blaze across 15 acres while some remained on scene. Firefighters in Benton County are now battling the Orchard Fire near the Meals Road and Finley Road intersection—wildland teams, bulldozers, and slowed BNSF trains aim to control the spread as winds are forecasted to pick up today.
