Pasco's new aquatic center will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, June 12 at 4 p.m. at 5204 Road 108, with public tours ahead of its June 27 swimming opening + visitors can purchase day or season passes during the event.
🚧 Accidents
Firefighters responded to a half-acre brush fire on Clarwalt Road (north of Pasco) on June 10 and have called in additional crews as they work to establish containment lines while the fire slowly grows.
🏛️ Government
Residents gathered at the HAPO Center today at 6:15 p.m. to learn about a proposed Sylvester Street overpass with a 12-foot-wide shared-use path and to hear from five candidates for police chief, as officials said state grant funding may start construction next spring.
