Good morning, Pasco.

On Saturday, the Pacific Northwest Collector Convention at the Three Rivers Convention Center drew over 1,600 visitors with free admission + more than 100 vendors selling collectibles like coins, games, and trading cards.

The event will run today from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. + visitors can catch additional offerings during these hours.

The Pasco Police Foundation is asking community members to donate gift cards valued at $15 or more by dropping them off at the police department through June 27 to support officer needs and local programs — donors will receive a PPD stuffed animal, Fuzz Da Bear, as a thank you.

A person was beaten with a firearm shortly before midnight Friday in Kennewick (the victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries) and police say evidence from a discharged gun in a wrecked car shows the suspect fled before officers arrived.
