Good morning, Pasco.

A morning fire broke out on Robert Wayne Drive on June 27—leaving one Pasco family without a home.

On June 27th at 9:30 p.m., Pasco firefighters rescued a person struggling in the Columbia River at Schlagel Park Marina—one firefighter swam the individual to a boat with help from a captain and another firefighter.

Residents in Pasco may see more boxelder bugs with hints of red this summer, and Washington State University experts said these common pests do not damage homes.

Homeowners can remove the bugs by vacuuming them up—chemical control is not recommended.

Families in Pasco are exploring fun ways to learn through everyday activities and play—using board games, cooking, and outdoor adventures to turn routine tasks into skill-building moments.

This method helps children connect and develop practical life skills—making family time both enjoyable and educational.

A new apartment complex, Argle Southridge—planned for a few years—has opened across Southridge High School in Kennewick with amenities such as a pool, gym, sauna and pavilion with food trucks.
