HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ A large study published July 23rd found that walking 7,000 steps a day nearly halved the risk of early death while lowering risks for dementia, depression, and diabetes. Health experts said adding about one hour of walking daily helps and advised that those taking only 2,000–3,000 steps should add just 1,000 more steps a day — a small increase that can yield big health benefits.
