➤ The Washington State Patrol reminded drivers that decorating moving vehicles with Christmas lights is illegal because lights may distract other drivers (RCW 46.37; WAC 204-21-230) and impair visibility; residents can safely display lights while parked or during organized parades. 610 KONA
➤ Residents who used Google Play between Aug. 2016 and Sep. 2023 and were charged extra fees can soon claim a part of a $700M settlement pending a court hearing in April 2026. Check your email notice from Google for instructions on receiving your refund via Venmo+PayPal. 610 KONA

➤ Updated guidelines now recommend using occipital nerve blocks + IV prochlorperazine in the ER to treat severe migraines instead of IV opioids or acetaminophen, and doctors expect this change will give patients faster relief while training for the new approach ramps up. FOX 41 Yakima
