- ➤ Tri-Cities police warned of a rise in unsafe, illegal mini-motor bikes being ridden on public streets and parks; on Monday night, an officer tried stopping two riders on Clearwater Avenue and one collided after his emergency lights were activated—officials said the crash left a teen seriously injured for not wearing a helmet. - ➤ The Pasco Aviation Museum reopens its doors today—offering views of vintage aircraft, rare photos, and World War II memorabilia—at 4102 N Stearman Ave with admission at $10 for adults, $5 for students and seniors while veterans get free entry. - ➤ The SageFen Maker Fest returned this weekend at the Red Lion Hotel in Pasco, offering a science fiction and fantasy themed celebration with crafting, classes, workshops, presentations and a costume contest. - ➤ Gas prices in the Tri-Cities rose as the average price of regular unleaded hit $4.11 on April 4 — up 5 cents from the previous day and higher than last week and last month. State lawmakers may raise taxes in the coming months, though prices remain below the averages seen last year and in 2022. Tri-Cities Area Journal of Business

- ➤ Washington lawmakers and Gov. Ferguson are debating new tax measures to close a $16 billion budget gap during the final weeks of the session; proposals include a wealth tax on assets over $50 million and changes to property, payroll and business taxes that would shift more costs to high net worth individuals, large companies and others.
